Bruce Piepiora always envisioned owning his own restaurant and when the opportunity arose, he uprooted his family to Bradenton to take on his vision. A Taste of Philly has been a family owned & operated restaurant in Bradenton, Florida since November 1994. Bruce started with his passion for Italian pastas, hoagies and pizzas, along with his new found love of making the Original Philly Cheese Steak, what the restaurant has now become known for. Along with his wife, Linda and his daughters; Cari and DeAnne, Bruce’s success flourished!
But in April 2000, Bruce’s fight with lung cancer ended. Linda took over, along with her youngest daughter Cari, to keep on the vision that he created. After a great 19 years in operation, A Taste of Philly still offers the same great food along with some new additions. Now including breakfast.
